Physiotherapy treatment is available at the practice at R480.00 per session (approx 30 – 45 mins).  The practice is registered with the Board of Healthcare Funders and all Medical Aids.

Please pay us in cash/EFT and we will give you a statement to claim back from your Medical Aid.

Katherine Tait:
Bsc(hons) physio 2001

Katerine qualified at the University of East London, UK and worked in all disciplines of physiotherapy before becoming a Senior Physiotherapist at Queen Elizabeth specializing in orthopaedics and outpatients. She completed the South African conversion exams in 2006 and completed 2 year community service before opening her own practice in 2009 alongside a pilates studio. In 2015 she sold the pilates studio to focus on the ever expanding physio practice but still works closely with Back to Basics. Post graduate qualifications and courses: Bobath rehabilitation; dry needling; APPI pilates; shoulder rehab; knee pain; HIV management; the neurophysiology of pain; wheelchair prescription; active tape, BLS healthcare and more.

Amore Barry;
BSc(hons) physio 2013

Amore qualified at the University of the Free State. She has worked in various areas of physiotherapy to specialise in outpatients. As a active sports woman, she has a keen interest in treating sports injuries. She also offers sports massages as well as physiotherapy treatments. Post grad qualifications: dry needling; APPI pilates; active tape; BLS healthcare.

Amore offers physiotherapy treatments as well as the pilates assessments for Back to Basics. She also teaches some pilates classes.
