Pilates, Yoga and Physiotherapy in Table View
At Back to Basics we offer a holistic range of services including pilates, yoga and personal training.
Our studio is conveniently located in College House, Village Place, Parklands.
Back to Basics offers pilates and exercise therapy in Table View to a variety of clients from all age groups and fitness levels. Pilates exercises are holistically modified to suit the individual to accommodate injuries, muscle imbalances and fitness or rehabilitation goals. Classes are small and instructed by physiotherapists or experts in movement rehabilitation to ensure that expert attention is given to each client.
Personal pilates training is also available at our studio in Table View, Cape Town, at your home or at the office.
Pilates home exercise programs can be individually devised for you and printed for you to do independently if you don’t have time to come to a class or do not live close to Table View or Blouberg.
Pilates training twinned with massage or physiotherapy is a popular choice for clients with injuries. The first half of your session will involve your personal pilates or exercise program and the second half, a soft tissue massage or physiotherapy treatment to the effected/injured area eg. neck, back, knee.
This treatment option can be claimed from medical aid.
Don’t have any injuries? We have regular pilates instructors to give you a great workout too.
Yoga has the ability to build strength, release tension, and create more flexibility in the entire body.
The benefits of yoga can be experienced on many levels. On the physical level, you will gain strength, flexibility, coordination, and notice an increase in stamina and endurance as your body heals and becomes more balanced.
Emotionally, you will become calmer.
We offer Hatha Yoga and Chair Yoga classes and private instruction. Strengthen, stretch and release tension.
